Sarah is graduating from high school next month and we are all very proud of her. Sarah has struggled in the past in school because she was so far behind due to her parents not sending her to school. She was removed from her home due to physical abuse at seven years old and it was discovered that she had never been to school. She was immediately put in school and also had tutoring services provided. Sarah quickly improved and was up to grade level in no time. Sarah has been on the Principal's Honor Roll her entire time in high school, is very involved in school activities and has recently committed to attend UC Davis in the Fall. Sarah is the first person in her family to graduate high school and attend college. Sarah has saved some money from working but is still is a little short of her goal so that she can purchase a computer for college.
