Makala is one of the hardest workers I know, and definitely deserves to catch a break. Living paycheck to paycheck without any family support is extremely hard, and help with groceries would really take a little of the pressure off of her as she provides for her son.
Makala is 32 years old and lives in TX
When I hear the word determined, Makala always comes to mind. She is smart, resilient, and has faced many challenges since aging out of foster care with a type of grace I still do not fully have in my 30's. Makala is the proud mommy to her son Sean, and is committed to creating a life for him better than she had growing up.
