Ramiyah has been through a lot of neglect and trauma. She is often very quiet compared to her siblings and does not show her anxiety outright. Bed time is difficult for her and she is terrified of the dark. Ramiyah has talked about being afraid that bugs and mice will crawl on her through the night. Since starting therapy recently the family is just beginning to understand her trauma and how to help her. Her therapist and family believe a weighted blanket would do her wonders!
Ramiyah is 9 years old and lives in OH
Ramiyah has had her ups and downs. She is shy and introverted but once she gets to know you she will want to talk to your ear off! She likes to brush hair and play with dolls. She has made huge advancements from where she started, her speech therapist says she is almost where she should be for her age, she has started therapy, and is getting ready for preschool. She loves her siblings and foster family.
