Matt is anxious about his first sleepaway summer camp experience, but he is excited to see his sister at the program, which reunites siblings who are separated while in foster care. To help Matt feel at home and fall asleep, he is asking for a pillow, a portable fan, a flashlight, toiletries, earplugs, a sleeping mask, twin sheets, and a twin comforter.
Matt is 15 years old and lives in ME
Matthew is a supportive brother to a sibling he was placed in a separate foster home from. He talks about his sibling throughout the year but due to geographic proximity he isn't able to see her often.

"Dear awesome person, thank you so much for granting this wish for Matt! Our volunteer team is meeting with him and his siblings this month to prepare for the camp week. We'll be talking about what every day will look like, and will also review a packing list. If he doesn't own something on the list, our staff will quietly note color preferences, sizing, etc. and purchase the missing items (a sleeping bag, a bathing suit, etc) and have them waiting for him on his bunk bed when he arrives. Part of the camp experience is lots of photo taking, so that Matt and his siblings can make and take home albums as an end-of-camp activity. While most of the photos aren't publicly shareable due to privacy, please feel free to find Camp To Belong Maine on Facebook after August because we will share the photos that we can, on our Facebook page!"
