Scarlett is in need of building her coping skills and using her creative nature to help in regulating her emotions. The sewing classes at Michael's and the supplies needed for it will help Scarlett feel confident and proud of her creations. In this manner she will learn coping skills that can translate to her interactions with others.

Scarlett is a young lady who enjoys ballet and girl scouts. When her family lived in another state, she was able to participate in these activities but since moving to Florida she is unable to do so. She longs to meet new people and make new friends. Her self-esteem and coping skills are falling behind and these activities assisted with both.
