Penelope received a polaroid-type camera for Christmas and has run out of film. She loves to take pictures of everything, from tiny flowers in her yard to the curls on the back of her brother's head. Many of her pictures end up in a scrapbook she is keeping to record her family history. Having the polaroid-type camera has been such a blessing because she doesn't have access to a printer to use for digital pictures.

Penelope is a breath of fresh air. She has suffered the worst kind of abuse, but you wouldn't know it if you met her. She loves to play dress-up and put on lots of costume jewelry. She is very crafty as well, and she always seems to have glitter in her hair, paint under her nails, and dried glue on her fingertips! Penelope also has 2 younger siblings, but the spread between them is 8 years, so she is more of a mother to them. She is glad to be in a home where she can be a kid.
