From Kennya:"This is my first own home with my children and I never had enough to furnish anything so i went with getting stuff that was handed down. Not really working
as much made it difficult to make my first home MY home. It'd mean so much to me to be able to furnish my small home for me and my kids considering i never thought I'd have a home or be able to be in a safe space."

From Kennya: "The most challenging thing for me while in the foster care system was not being heard. Most youth had a great experience but sadly, it wasn't for me. I had a lot of struggles with my former social worker and placements. People expected me to fail."
