When Sarah moved to her current foster home, the signs of abuse were apparent. The first time her foster parents really saw her open up and smile was when she was in a pool. It seems like the one place she forgets her past and embraces the moment. Having access to a pool would help Sarah continue to cope and grow into the beautiful and happy little girl everyone knows she can be!
Sarah is 15 years old and lives in KY
Sarah has had a rough life. Both of her parents are deceased and unfortunately she has been in several family placements where she was a victim of different types of abuse in each. Sarah is starting to open up and is finding healthy outlets that help her cope, but she still has a ways to go.
