More often then not when a child enters foster care one of two things happens, either they have no idea where their family comes from, or they are told the wrong information. Tasha would love the opportunity to learn who she is!
Tasha is 36 years old and lives in PA
From Tasha:"My name is Tasha. I live in PA with my 5yr old daughter. I'm a graduate of Bloomsburg University. I love musical theatre, reading, teaching my daughter and I love sharing my foster care story and advocating. I love speaking to Members of Congress regarding transforming the child welfare system as well getting our youth the stability and support they need to do amazing things. I was raised in the system. I've lived in more homes then you can count on your fingers and toes and the person sitting next you. I have experience abuse of all types, down to the unimaginable. I've experienced over medicated and homelessness. Even with my past, I've taken it and used it to motivate myself to be better want better. I've failed but I got back up. Now I want what I've experienced and what I did you overcome to be someone else's survival guide."
