Laela loves Starbucks, and it's a special treat any time her foster mom is willing to take her. As there is only one Starbucks in their small rural town, technically it's a neighboring town, she knows she is bound to run into a friend or two while she is there. She likes to experiment with different drinks, and hasn't settled on a favorite yet. You can bet they are all sweet, though!

Laela is very much into fashion and social media. She stays on top of the latest makeup trends and loves to put on sparkly eyeshadow. Thankfully, her foster mom keeps a close watch on her online activity and makes sure Laela's experience online remains a positive one. Laela is a good student and enjoys going to school, even though she was a bit dismayed to learn there was no recess in middle school. She tried out for cheerleading this year, but didn't make the squad. This hasn't kept her down, though! She is already working on a routine to try out for next season.
