Mary unfortunately came in with only the clothes she was wearing. We were able to get her all of the essentials but it's not enough. She doesn't know what size she is, her mother made many of her clothes, and it was hard to get clothes that fit just right. She loves to dress up but said that she wasn't able to wear a lot of things where they lived before and she is so excited to be able to pick out some clothing herself that she likes.
Mary is 15 years old and lives in TX
Mary is very shy but very well spoken and articulate when she does speak. She likes to write, draw, and read. She wasn't in school very long before leaving to help her family so she is also excited for school to catch up to where she is supposed to be. She is very close with her older brother and doesn't leave his side much.
