Being in foster care, Philip does not have easy access to a computer for schoolwork. Philip is behind in school subjects and needs credit recovery which requires a computer. Having his own laptop would allow him to complete assignments, including makeup work, and perform research for his subjects. He would also like to apply for part-time work and needs to submit resumes electronically.
Philip is 20 years old and lives in FL
Philip has endured immense childhood trauma and does not have any family or support systems within the community. In spite of this he is a very intelligent, artistic, and resilient young man. Phillip is struggling to adjust to high school and is having trouble academically, however, he s determined to succeed. Philip states that he has hopes and dreams and that he will have a great life in the future.
