Carlos hardly ever treats himself to new shoes. He understands there are more important bills that need to be paid in order to survive. Any extra funds he may have typically go to buying food, gas, or clothing if needed. Carlos would love to have a new pair of Jordan's. They are his favorite sneaker and he would absolutely love the opportunity to treat himself to something nice!

From Carlos:" Some of the most defining moments in foster care for me are not being with my siblings, domestic violence being the reason we are in foster care, group homes, foster homes, group home rules, not being home, staying positive, keeping a good attitude towards the future, "worrying" about yourself, stubborn parents, the conversations with parents, the difficulty to keep a relationship with siblings over a phone or thru 2 hour visits, child support for my single mom who did it all on her own without any of my siblings dads or my dad involved. It was all very tough."
