Ava's therapist has recommended a kids hammock. This will provide Ava with a sensory calm down spot and provide her the necessary tools to help her regulate her emotions better. Ava works really hard to reign in her emotions, but sometimes they can be to much. She would absolutely love to have a calm space to go to when she is feeling over stimulated!
Ava is 8 years old and lives in AZ
Ava is a bright young girl who was just reunited with her brother in a foster home that is able to take care of both of them. Ava has a lot of catching up to do in school but with a lot of hard work she can reach her fullest potential. She always has a smile on her face and greets others happily. Her foster mom describes her as shy and sweet, usually quiet unless she gets excited and she can be heard from miles away.
