Stacia had never been on a horse. She mentioned that to her foster parents, who live on a small farm with goats and chickens, but no horses. Her foster parents arranged for Stacia to take English riding lessons with a professional in the neighborhood. Stacia had her first lesson, and was grinning ear to ear the whole time!
Stacia is 13 years old and lives in CO
Stacia is a spunky and sassy girl with a great sense of style. She is upbeat and loves to try new things. She is the oldest of three siblings who are placed in foster care together. Stacia loves animals and when she learned her new foster home had goats and chickens, it eased her mind. Stacia has been in out of home placement for more than two years now- it's not easy, but she is strong.
