Gianni is an incredibly resilient little boy who is doing his best to overcome the lasting effects of the terrible trauma he has endured. He is having some trouble sleeping and his therapist recommends a weighted blanket. A weighted blanket will help him drift off to dreamland feeling more secure. It may also reduce his anxiety and irritation during the day which stems from his lack of sleep.
Gianni is 9 years old and lives in CA
Gianni entered foster care in 2020 after experiencing terrible trauma. He was then diagnosed with ADHD and participates in intensive therapy services. He is a super sweet boy who is always honest about his outbursts and says he tries to control his body but he can't. He tries his best!! He has a great smile and loves when his accomplishments are recognized. He likes to help his foster mother in the kitchen and he loves to draw and construct legos, too. When he is drawing, playing with action figures, or building with Legos, he always seems content and calm.
