Cindy has some big life changes coming up in April. Not only will she be turning 18 and officially be entering adulthood, her case with DCF will also be closing. Cindy has mentioned to her case worker how much she loves Starbucks but she rarely gets to go because it is so expensive. Cindy would be so happily surprised if her wish for a Starbucks gift card were granted so she can enjoy her favorite sweet drink on her birthday. She will be able to end her experience in foster care on a positive note while she reflects on how far she has come and how bright her future ahead is.
