Daniel is asking for a Nintendo Switch gaming console that can help him calm down when he is overwhelmed. Gaming would help reduce his anxiety from the trauma he experienced at home. Daniel has never had a gaming device all to himself that he could take anywhere he wanted. He knows this will be a great tool in reducing his anxiety and distracting him when he is overwhelmed with his personal life.
Daniel is 11 years old and lives in CA
Daniel is such a strong boy who has been through so much. He and his 3 siblings experienced severe trauma before they entered foster care. Then when Daniel was placed into a foster home, he had a lot of behavioral challenges while navigating all these big changes. He has been learning how to cope with his situation through therapy and it has been very beneficial. Daniel now gets along with his siblings and his foster parents well.
