A Tablet to keep Dylan entertained while he endures extended hospital clinic visits

Posted Jan 9, 2022
Dylan was recently in the hospital for six months, and he was able to use a tablet provided by the hospital. He loved watching Cocomelon and using the light up drawing games. He has to return to the hospital for clinic visits often and can sometimes be there for 5 or 6 hours. Being able to bring a tablet would keep Dylan busy watching movies and playing games. Having a tablet will also give him the chance to video chat with his four siblings who are in another home. This tablet will give Dylan some happiness and joy in the face of a very difficult and stressful medical crisis.

Dylan is 4 years old and lives in IL

Dylan is a sweet toddler who has a very complex medical situation, and he has had to endure three stem cell transplants. His condition is terminal and the family will be meeting with his team next week to start hospice and palliative care. His new foster family is determined to give Dylan all the love and fun they can during his time with them. Dylan loves dogs, other kids, bath time and drawing. His favorite toy is his tool bench and pretend power tools .
