Raquel is wishing for a stove so that she can have a complete kitchen to cook meals for her family. She loved cooking growing up and has hopes of sharing this passion with her daughter. Raquel has been working very hard to get her first apartment and now needs support with the essentials, so that her daughter has everything she needs to thrive.
Raquel is 36 years old and lives in CA
Raquel just moved into her first ever apartment with her daughter! For Raquel, creating a safe and comfortable home for her daughter has always her top priority. Now that they have a space to call their own, she is left fill this space with very little support. Raquel shares that she wants to become a nurse and hopes to one day be able to provide safety and comfort to children in a stressful moment. She remembers back to her time in foster care and how important it was for her to meet adults who genuinely cared and looked after her. She actively volunteers in foster youth programs around her community and is always looking for ways to give back and pay it forward.
