A Camera for Laura to capture memories with her sons

Posted Apr 18, 2022
Laura family life has always been chaotic, and her time in foster care did not result in many fun memories. She has made it a goal in her life to create lasting memories for her sons. With this wish she will be able to capture the moments with her sons so they can look back on them fondly together in the future. She hopes to create a powerpoint for each of their birthdays to show them everything they accomplish every year, and how they have grown from the years prior.

Laura is 28 years old and lives in CA

Laura is a mother and has two sons. She is also a full time college student who is going to graduated college next spring. Her goal in life is to protect children and help them have a voice. She hopes to one day be the head director of DFCS of Santa Clara County, and continue her mission of protecting kids. She looks forward to watching her sons grow into the strong young men she knows they can be.

"I heard about OSW from fostertheteens on Instagram and immediately wanted to find someone in my hometown of San Jose, CA. Then I found you! I believe God intentionally sent me your way to bless you today. Please know that He loves you so much and is providing for you. I am praying that this gift helps you make lots of sweet memories with your boys. They are so lucky to have you as their mom."

"I am forever grateful that you helped me with my wish. I will cherish the moments captured with my sons and will cherish future moments as we journey on adventures in time. I bless you and pray that good things come your way as they do mine. Pay it forward is what you did and I shall pay it forward for the next person. My kids aren’t the lucky ones to have me as their mom. I am the lucky one to have such amazingly bright boys in my life. Thank you so much. "
