A New Bike for Kiana to ride and help with her balance and sensory input

Kiana does struggle a bit with balance and needs a bike with training wheels. She was diagnosed with early onset scoliosis last fall and needs opportunities to get outside and be active outside of wearing her brace. A bicycle will give her that ability this summer. Also being outside gives her the sensory input she seems to desire to stay calm and cope with any difficulties she may have. If she is able to get a bike they would be able to ride together as a family. She would be so excited to have a new bike as we have not been successful in trying to fix hers yet.
Kiana is 11 years old and lives in MN
Kiana is an amazing little girl who has overcome so many obstacles in the last couple of years. She has a multitude of diagnosis that she does not let define who she is and has not let them keep her from becoming a well rounded, main streamed student that has made it to grade level in reading. At her first IEP meeting the school district had little hope for her to leave Special Ed, but she has done it with minimal services now! Kiana loves to read, ride bikes, go swimming, play with Barbie's and watch her favorite Disney movies. She lives with her sister and her grandparents, has a great fondness for animals and wants to be a vet when she grows up. She loves going to the zoos, aquariums, animal barns at the fairs and local farms for events. She is truly at peace spending time with animals.
