Nautica has recently gone through a very traumatic court trial involving her adoptive father and the trauma she endured at his hands. Additionally, Nautica also lost most of her physical possessions in the tornados that ravaged Ohio in 2019, and she has slowly been rebuilding her life. She is trying very hard to move on from so much trauma and has found a new apartment and a job that she loves as a housing case manager. She originally had come to us requesting moving costs, but was able to save her first, last and security deposit on her own. Nautica used all of her savings to secure this apartment for her and her daughter, and now needs help with furnishing her space and making it a home.
