Funeral Costs for Alexys to bury her brother

Alexys is a former foster youth and a powerful statewide voice to improve outcomes for others. She is currently coping with the unexpected loss of her brother. She has come to One Simple Wish seeking help with the overwhelming costs for his funeral services. This is such a hard time for Alexys, and hopefully this wish will help alleviate one source of stress during this very difficult and sad time for Alexys.
Alexys is 20 years old and lives in OH
Alexys is a youth ambassador for the Overcoming Hurdles in Ohio Youth Advisory Board (OHIO YAB) and the former President of the Franklin County Youth Advisory Board. She has shared her insights with CASA, GALs and educators to improve outcomes improve outcomes for today’s foster youth. When Alexys presented for a virtual training of Franklin County CASAs and GALs, participants shared that this was “one of the most powerful testimonies they had ever heard from teens/young adults.”
