A Device for Devaughn to connect with friends in his new foster home

Posted Nov 21, 2022
Devaughn is one of 3 siblings who has been in and out of foster homes since he was younger. He lost his mother unexpectedly in November 2021. He has since been placed with his very much older sister, who is trying her best to house 8 kids under one roof. Devaughn and his siblings said that this is the first home where they truly feel love. Devaughn tries his best to entertain the other 5 children in the home, who are much younger than he is. He started a new school and doesn't have a device or any way to connect to his new friends, classmates, etc. Devaughn has autism, and his teacher said that he would need a device with a case and speed capacity to use specific ASD apps. He also simply does not have a device of his own to have downtime and just be a kid. Devaughn would be completely surprised and emotionally overwhelmed with happiness if a donor gifted this to him. He will be so excited to find this amazing gift under the tree this Christmas.

Devaughn is 14 years old and lives in NY

Devaughn is a teen in foster care. He enjoys playing on the phone and loves games. He is very close with the other foster children in the home and has a special bond with his oldest sister. He loves cake and hot pockets.
