Desirae desperately wants an instrument to own. Currently, she can only play when she's at school. She's placed in a home where the caregiver cannot afford to purchase any instruments for her. Desirae does have a history of self harm. Music is everything to Desirae. Music calms her and allows her to express herself. It would awesome if Desirae were able to play music over the summer not only for entertainment purposes, but for self care as well. Of all the instruments she plays, she has asked for a clarinet.

Desirae is an intelligent and curious teenager who is musically gifted. She plays various instruments, such as the violin, viola, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, piano, and keyboard. She is also a talented singer. She's involved in the school choir, orchestra, band, and jazz band. She aspires to pursue a career in music, possibly playing in an orchestra. She has persevered through numerous traumatic events in her life, but remains strong and focused on her future.
