Location: Ewing, NJ (Office-centric hybrid) | Some travel required, including occasional overnights
Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 plus performance-based bonus

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy, and highly organized Program coordinator to lead our "Joy Makers" team and execute our "Love Hope Joy Delivered" events across the United States. This role is perfect for a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable youth. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of 1-2 community engagement events per week from March through December. While most events will be held within 60 miles of Trenton, NJ, some may require driving up to 5 hours and overnight stays. During slower event periods or as needed based on organizational priorities, this role will also support wish coordination efforts, including posting and fulfilling wishes, customer service, and content creation. This position demands exceptional customer service skills, logistical expertise, and the ability to inspire and lead a small team of interns and volunteers.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Execution:
  • Plan, organize, and execute 1-2 "Love Hope Joy Delivered" events per week (March-December) throughout the United States.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, scheduling, transportation, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a small team of paid interns and volunteers.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide ongoing support.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Wish Program Coordination:

  • Support the processing, editing, and posting of wishes through our internal system.
  • Fulfill wishes by purchasing items online and updating status in our database.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and assist with email-based customer service.
  • Contribute to storytelling and content creation by sharing impactful wish stories.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to align on tone and messaging.
  • Perform these tasks during periods of lower event activity or when organizational needs require.
  • Customer Service & Community Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive event experience for all participants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders.

Logistics & Administration:

  • Manage event budgets and track expenses.
  • Maintain accurate event records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.

Accountability:

  • Be highly accountable for all aspects of event success.
  • Proactively solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances.
