I’ve known Gerardo for about a year now. He is a respectful and bright young individual. He has integrated well, and is a cherished member of the foster family. He has his heart set on going to UNC. He works hard. He is enrolled in after-school classes to further his SAT scores in English and Math. He likes sports, especially loves playing basketball and soccer. He reads business books. He would like to leverage his technology skills to make his mark in life; by writing an app, for instance.
