Ebony has been removed from her mother's care twice in her life and this time is glad to be in a different home. She was feeling very scared when she was with her mom since everyone was fighting all the time, and she wants to be in a house where there is peace and quiet. She is making some friends at school and is hoping to catch up with academics.
