Layla enjoys spending time at the local library, reading and participating in arts and crafts programs like, coloring and painting. She has recently started to help with the community garden, preparing soil, and planting flowers. Layla enjoys using the computer to write a story about two girls that have the same name in their class that start off as enemies and end up as friends. She enjoys video games, particularly Roblox. Layla also spends time with extended family going to the beach during the summers. Layla's behaviors and grades at school have improved dramatically over the course of the school year, her favorite subject is writing.
