About Alexandria

Alexandria is 31 years old and lives in KS

Alexandria Ware is a child welfare expert and dedicated advocate for young people and their families with experience working in community-based services, state systems, and on national policy. Alexandria is currently The Arthur Goochman Child and Family Advocacy Fellow. Before joining Children's s Rights, she was at K-State Research and Extension (KSRE) as a 4H Youth Development Agent. Before joining KSRE, she was at Think of Us, Virtual Support Services, as their Program Manager, where she was the Research Coordinator for the Away from Home Report and vital to creating the foundation for the Virtual Support Services Department. Most recently, she has been the co-founder and co-host of Diaries of a Black Girl in Foster Care podcast that highlights the intersectionality and experiences of black girls in foster care. She also serves as a national federal consultant, Support Coach, and trainer for National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) Reviewers through JBS International Inc.
