At age 9, Tamiyah thought she lost it all, but foster care gave her the hope she needed to keep pushing in life. Those words above were written by Tamiyah herself, the beautiful young woman in this photo. At 18, she aged out of foster care in Palm Beach County. 9 years spent in the system, yet she persevered. Tamiyah broke generational curses and every single statistic and was the FIRST to graduate high school and go to college in her family and was accepted into Florida State and is now in her second year.
