Mia is an amazing student, a dedicated mother of 2 beautiful girls, and an advocate for survivor's rights. After aging out of the foster care system, she worked hard to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and is a fierce advocate for change. She uses her lived experience to educate community members and inform decision makers about way to incorporate trauma informed practices and polices when working with those who have experienced Human Trafficking. In her free time, Mia loves spending time with her daughters and enjoys reading.
