Marcela is an incredibly sweet and intelligent girl currently living in foster care with her baby sister. She is adapting well to learning English and has a big heart for caring for others. Raised in a single-parent household, Marcela enjoys being helpful. Although foster care has been challenging for her, as she dearly misses her family, she remains a hopeful and joyful child who loves playing with and caring for her sister. In school, Marcela is a bright student with a curiosity that fuels her eagerness to learn. She is often ahead of her class academically and is capable of completing her homework independently.
