Summer is a free-spirited and energetic young lady who has been in the foster care system since September 2024. During this time, she has lived with a family friend, a youth shelter, and currently, a treatment home with a very supportive resource family. Due to the many moves she has experienced, Summer has faced challenges in school. However, she is currently happy at the new school she is attending. She looks forward to scheduled visits with her younger brother and enjoys socializing, music, and expressing her own style. Summer has shown significant growth in her social-emotional learning and is focusing on building trust and rapport with those who care about and advocate for her.
