Mohammad, who goes by Mo, is a boy who spent the first six months of his life in the NICU due to multiple medical issues. He was born at 24 weeks and required extensive care. His foster mom brought him and his brother home from the hospital because they both had high medical needs. Mo is a fighter. He has a very complex gastrointestinal case and receives all of his feedings through a GJ tube, which delivers food directly to his intestines to bypass his stomach. Recently, he has been hospitalized three times, spending nearly half of the last couple of months in a hospital room due to illnesses, oxygen needs, and weight loss. Despite these challenges, he continues to smile and enjoy life. Mo loves being outside and sitting in the sun. He has a fondness for baby animals, bright colors, and spinning toys. He is ready to embrace this summer, looking forward to getting out and about more and enjoying life despite his medical needs.
