Caiden has endured unimaginable hardships; his mother lost her life in a domestic violence incident, and his father was sentenced to life in prison. At the age of 15, Caiden entered foster care because his elderly grandmother could no longer care for him. He has experienced multiple placements and received treatments to address his mental health needs. Despite these challenges, Caiden has demonstrated remarkable strength and determination by obtaining his GED at 16. Now, he is focused on earning an Associate's Degree in Information Technology. With his 18th birthday approaching, Caiden is committed to building a stable and independent life, actively participating in programs that support his transition to adulthood.
