Joy, 19 years old, NV
Joy entered the foster care system at just three years old. As she moved between different homes, life was often unstable and uncertain. Despite this, she stayed determined. Joy found strength in her education and received support from some caring foster families. Recently, she achieved an important goal by enrolling in college, becoming the first in her foster family to do so. Her hard work paid off when she landed a job with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). For Joy, this job means a lot more than just earning a paycheck; it represents stability and independence. Her story continues to inspire others who are going through similar challenges.
