Majesty spent 7 years in the foster care system, where she struggled to feel grounded or connected due to the constant instability of moving from home to home. Through the obstacles she faced, Majesty learned to advocate for herself and became more outgoing and resilient. She often found comfort in books, music, the love of her grandmother, and the support of her social worker and mentor. Majesty is proud of her determination to push forward, even when all odds seemed against her. In the near future, Majesty hopes to build a stable and purposeful life for herself, where she can shift her focus from surviving to thriving.
