Kahlil, 2 years old, GA

Kahlil was brought into foster care after living in deplorable conditions that lacked basic necessities such as running water, heat, clothing, and food. His home was infested with rats, and he shared a cramped two-bedroom space with his parents and eight other individuals. Despite these challenges, Kahlil is meeting his developmental milestones, although he still struggles with some behavioral issues. His foster parents are actively working with him, and there has been noticeable improvement. Kahlil is a loving and affectionate child who enjoys playing with both his siblings and his foster siblings. He has a special fondness for his toys and often talks about his love for cars.
