Brandon is a mildly autistic young adult who loves meeting new people and being part of his community. He regularly visits the local recreation center, where he enjoys playing games and helping the staff. He is well known and loved in his community for his positive personality and strong desire for independence. Life became much more challenging for his family after Brandon’s father was sentenced to prison. His mother now works constantly to support Brandon and his three younger siblings. Even with her efforts, the family often struggles with basic necessities. Despite these hardships, Brandon and his family remain close and work together as a strong unit to get through difficult times and make the best of their situation.
