Dona is in foster care. She lived with her mother during early childhood and later with her grandmother until her passing from cancer. After her grandmother’s death, Dona entered the foster care system at age 12 and has remained in care since. Dona recently became a mother to a baby girl about a month ago and is adjusting to parenthood while working toward stability. She left her job due to the lack of childcare and is now exploring options for childcare assistance and housing vouchers to support her transition into independent living. Dona is interested in completing her GED and finding employment in housekeeping, janitorial, or similar roles once childcare is in place.
