Essex was once forced to deny her LGBTQ+ identity by her cultural family, but she has since embraced who she truly is. Now, she is on a journey to fully discover and understand herself. Studying psychology at Essex, she aims to deepen her understanding of identity and mental health, using her experiences to help others navigate similar challenges. Her courage to accept herself marks a new beginning as she works toward personal growth and acceptance.
