Nat, 11 years old, OR
Nat's mother passed away from a drug overdose, leaving her with a deep sense of loss. Now living with her grandmother and five siblings, she continues to grieve her mother. Recently, their family had to move to a new home due to safety concerns involving her older siblings' father, which adds to her feelings of uncertainty. As she starts at a new school, Nat feels anxious about making new friends. Despite these challenges, she finds comfort in playing with dolls and cuddling with her stuffed animals at night. Being outdoors is another escape for her, as she loves playing outside and visiting the park to momentarily forget her worries. In her free time, she enjoys coloring and engaging in crafts, allowing her creativity to shine amid the difficulties she faces.
