Sharrod is a bright young man who became involved with the wrong crowd during his last placement in a group home. After spending a few months in detention, he has refocused his life and is determined to make the most of his situation. While at the detention center, Sharrod dedicated his time and energy to studying for the GED exam and has managed to stay out of trouble. He is now being placed with a strong male foster parent who specializes in trauma-based care. Sharrod is excited about this new placement and is motivated to turn his life around.
