Amy and her siblings were placed in foster care after she was removed from her home due to severe physical and sexual abuse. The agency attempted to place all six children in the same home, but Amy had to be placed in a residential facility due to her behavior. Amy has worked extremely hard and is now preparing to transition from the residential facility to a small group home. She has set goals for herself and plans to join the Navy after completing high school. Amy has learned to recognize her anger triggers and has developed strategies to redirect herself when she feels angry.
