After being adopted at age 10, Mariah experienced significant instability when her adoptive parent requested her removal at age 14. Following that disruption, she struggled with multiple placements, risky behaviors, and difficulty staying engaged in school. Despite these challenges, Mariah has shown remarkable growth and resilience. Her long-term goal is to attend cosmetology school and become a licensed hairdresser. She is highly artistic, naturally talented in hairstyling, and brightens up when talking about her future in cosmetology.
