A Tablet for Hunter to continue to learn through fun and games

Hunter, 13 years old

Woodfords Family Services

Hunter is an amazing young boy who recently moved into a foster home with his younger sister for the first time. Hunter has never been separated from his family and has had an incredibly difficult time adjusting to this change, especially with the holidays. Hunter transitioned to a new school and he is very eager to learn. He loves math! Although he struggles at times with reading and writing he will never stop asking questions and will even ask for extra homework. Hunter is a very polite, well-mannered young boy. His smile, along with his silly jokes will make anyone want to spend more time with him!

Hunter has been in foster care for just over a year now. In that year, he has continued to have visitation off and on with his biological parents and continues to also be let down time and time again by false promises that are made. Hunter’s parents have had their visitations suspended on several occasions simply because they have not shown up leaving Hunter to feel like he has done something wrong and abandoned by them. One of the most recent promises that his parents told him, and his sibling, was that they were going to get them a tablet for Christmas however; they have since changed their minds meaning yet another promise broken. Hunter has expressed his desire to have his own tablet and was looking forward to receiving one this year. Please help Hunter make this wish come true!
