Foster Alumni MentorsSistina has an amazing story of perseverance and overcoming obstacles. She never gave up. She has always been a hard worker and did very well in college. She is now a stay-at-home mom, caring for her younger siblings that entered the foster care system as well as raising her own children. She has such a big heart and is always doing what she can for those around her. Sistina is such an ambitious, hard working leader and dreams of owning her own home one day.
Sistina has the biggest heart and immense love for her sibling and had adopted her sibling after providing kinship care. Through all of this, there has been a couple of snags in the adoption process which is causing a financial strain on the family as a whole. A gift card for gas would be immensely helpful for Sistina and her family so that they are able to get to their appointments/do errands/get to work and still have funds to pay their rent for this month while things are getting sorted out regarding the adoption.
