Mackynzie is a kind and ambitious student. Mackynzie has been an involved "Little" in Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence region since 2021 where she has been receiving emotional, academic and interpersonal support from her Big Sister Shaniqua. Mackynzie is always present, kind and communicative in her check in's with her Match Support Specialist every month. Mackynzie is an honor student and a team player in her girl varsity basketball team. I can confidently say Mackynzie is a joy to have in our program and is deserving of the amazing opportunities coming her way.

Mackynzie is a high-achieving 7th grader who is passionate about servicing her community. Mackynzie is a a hard working honors student and a member of her junior varsity all-girls basketball team. She was recently selected to participate in a service trip to Ecuador to support communities abroad and it would mean the world to her to be able to take that step in leadership, service, and exploration. Mackynzie and her family are asking for this One Simple Wish, in hopes she will be able to attend this trip of a lifetime!
